  1. Hi there! Love your book! I am a college microbiologist turned so to be Health Coach in Integrative Nutrition specialty gut flora and probiotic foods! Anyway, I think there is a typo on page 273. 4 L of Mt Dew is 30 cups of sugar? Just wanted to let you know!

    1. Hi Tammy, and thanks for the compliment. I’m flattered that someone of your training would find my book interesting 🙂 Yes…it would seem that isn’t correct, though it is a huge amount of sugar. Not sure at this point how I came up with that number but I’ll add a correction for the next submission as I try to keep it live. SugarStacks (http://www.sugarstacks.com/beverages.htm) has it listed as 124g/liter, so that would be a little over a pound of sugar or just over 2 cups per 4 liters. I’ll look up some more reputable sources, such as the label, to make sure my correction is correct. Thank you for pointing it out! Another reader pointed out that initially I’d said something about penguins at the north pole having traces of glyphosate-and of course there aren’t any at the north pole; penguins are at the south pole. It’s amazing how challenging it is to get all the facts just right, despite repeating proofing! keep up the good nutrition work and thanks for contacting me-Richard
